A safe space for healing, honesty, and connection.

Here, you can finally exhale without needing to perform, mask, or filter who you are. We believe meaningful care begins with feeling safe enough to be fully seen and supported, exactly as you are. Whether you are navigating stress, trauma, grief, anxiety, or life transitions, you do not have to carry it alone. Whether you are LGBTQIA+, kink-involved, or part of the therian community, you will be met with deep respect and zero judgment. We strive to provide a sanctuary for the "too much," the "nontraditional," and the "unfiltered." This is a place to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and begin healing with compassion and authenticity.

Rooted in empathy, guided by care

Mishi Soto is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate and a first-generation American raised between two cultures. Her mother immigrated from South Korea and her father from Germany, she grew up navigating the richness and complexity of different worldviews, values, and ways of relating. This unique cultural upbringing fostered a deep appreciation for the many ways people experience life, make meaning of their emotions, and define fulfillment. Today, that perspective remains at the core of her therapeutic approach, helping her create a space that honors each client's unique story and lived experience.

Before entering the mental health field, Mishi earned her degree as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist. While working in healthcare, she witnessed firsthand the profound connection between emotional and physical health, including the effects of stress, trauma, and grief on the body. Experiences such as seeing Takotsubo syndrome, often referred to as “broken heart syndrome,” deepened her understanding of how emotional pain can physically manifest and inspired her to pursue a path focused on deeper healing and whole-person care.

Mishi believes mental health cannot be separated from the body, relationships, culture, or environment. Her approach to therapy is holistic, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that healing happens when every part of a person is acknowledged and supported.

She brings warmth, curiosity, and deep respect for each client’s unique story. Her practice is a space free from judgment, where clients are encouraged to exhale, be honest, and reconnect with themselves in meaningful ways.

Mishi has experience supporting individuals, couples and families navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, and trauma. She draws from evidence-based approaches including Emotionally Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Interventions, Narrative Therapy, Somatic Therapy, and holistic practices to help clients move toward healing, self-understanding, and growth.

My Approach

Therapy that honors the whole of you

A chain-link fence with three signs that read, from left to right: 'DON'T GIVE UP,' 'YOU ARE NOT ALONE,' and 'YOU MATTER.' Behind the fence, there is greenery including various plants and trees.

Compassion First

Every session begins with genuine care. You are seen, you are heard, and you are never judged. Creating safety is the foundation of all meaningful therapeutic work.

Collaborative Process

You are the expert on your own life. My role is to walk alongside you, not in front of you. We set goals together and adjust as you grow and change.

Evidence-Based

I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, and holistic practices, thoughtfully tailoring each session to support your unique needs, experiences, and goals.

Common Questions

Here to help you understand

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, we accept both insurance and private pay options. Every individual’s situation is unique, and we are happy to discuss which payment method and coverage options may work best for your needs.

What happens in the first session?

The first session is about getting to know each other. I'll ask about what brings you in, your history, and your goals and you're encouraged to ask me anything too. There's no pressure.

Is everything I share confidential?

Yes. Confidentiality is a cornerstone of therapy. There are a few legal exceptions (such as imminent safety concerns) which I explain clearly during our first session.

Do you offer telehealth sessions?

Absolutely! Sessions are currently offered virtually, except for in-home services. An outdoor therapy space is under construction in Graham, Washington, with in-person sessions anticipated to begin in 2027.

How long does therapy typically take?

It truly depends on your goals and needs. Some people benefit from a focused 8–12 week period, while others find value in longer-term work. We'll check in regularly and let your progress guide the pace.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply want a supportive space to grow, therapy can help. A free 15-minute consult is a wonderful low-pressure way to find out if we're a good fit.
